If you have the chance Reader you should jump in a Swiss lake!

I have just moved to Zug, and we are 5 minutes walk from the lake where they have free swimming areas! Most towns and cities don't offer them for free, but you can just jump in a lake anywhere you can access it. And the water is extremely clean, safe and fun - especially with the temperatures we are getting at the moment (and next week!).

Here are some options for swimming in general, and specifically in Zurich.
